Meet the Trainer

Kristen Cole started her path towards horse training when she began taking lessons at age 8. Her love for American Saddlebreds came from her mother who gave Kristen her first Saddlebred show horse when she was 9. She spent her junior exhibitor years in equitation riding Saddlebreds with Madeline Fredrickson and Marvin Ward. 

She continued riding throughout college and upon graduating, she started Bridle Creek with her mother, who was always her biggest fan. By that time, she was also working with Morgan horses and had acquired several clients.

Throughout her career, Kristen has worked with some of the country’s leading trainers in both Morgans and American Saddlebreds. She has a long list of local, regional and world champion titles with both Morgans and Saddlebreds, as well as Arabians and Friesians. 

Today, after working several years as a private trainer for one family, Kristen has once again opened her barn doors to new clients. Her current show string includes both Morgans, Saddlebreds, Arabians, and half Arabians in all disciplines – saddle seat, hunt seat, and western.
